LIZ GOLDBERG
Liz Goldberg, Founder + Creative Director at CAROLYNLEONA creates functional and beautiful spaces customized to how each of their clients and families live. Her style combines clean lines with depth, creating designs that are engaging and purposeful. With her vivacious personality, strong vendor relationships and industry expertise, Liz produces the most captivating transformations. Leveraging longstanding relationships and an entire career spent in the design industry, Liz creates transformative spaces that allow CL clients to realize their design aesthetic and bring their vision to life.
After completing her education with degrees in Interior Design, Textiles and Business, Liz began her career working in upholstery and textiles at Crate & Barrel. She custom-created fabrics while learning from industry leaders such as Nate Berkus and Mitchell Gold. Liz was handpicked by Herman Miller to help bring their vision of creating a human-centered approach into office spaces and homes.

With almost 20 years of calling Raleigh home and having spent her entire career in the design industry, Michelle Silvis brings local knowledge and expertise to the CL mix. Michelle’s previous experience in the high end plumbing and hardware world allows our clients to rest assured as we are sourcing the best of the best. Michelle has a calming presence and keeps CL buttoned up; her organization skills are pure magic! Michelle leaves no detail behind and believes in elevating your every day by creating classic, functional designs where our clients can live and thrive in their home. The best part about Michelle? She believes in work-life balance. Michelle and her husband have three children who spend their weekends cheering on their favorite football teams. Michelle is team beach, her husband is team mountains - so Raleigh is the perfect location for weekend getaways.

Marketing Manager & Brand Designer
With over 15 years of experience Amanda has been helping entrepreneurs and small businesses tell their stories with authenticity and intention. She believes the best brands are built on connection, where strategy meets heart and design feels as effortless as it is meaningful. For the past seven years, Amanda has been part of the CL Team, bringing creativity and brand vision to life as the West Coast representation based in sunny San Diego, California. When she’s not behind the screen, you’ll find Amanda spending slow mornings at the beach with her husband and daughter or at home tending to their mini farm, complete with chickens, bunnies, and dogs.

MARK GOLDBERG

Office Business Manager
With a degree from Miami of Ohio in Finance and many years of experience in building client relationships, Mark brings a strong sense of professionalism and strategy to the CL team. Mark has managed budgets and projects for several Fortune 500 companies, and he always has his clients’ budgets top of mind. When Mark is not working, he is ferociously peddling away on his Peloton and dreaming about all the calories he can consume at the best restaurants in Raleigh, North Carolina - talk about a #foodsnob. On Sundays, you can find him glued to the TV in his man cave, drinking a Bourbon or a glass of Spanish Tempranillo while watching his favorite team, the Cleveland Browns. Go Brownies!
